It’s Almost Rent Day!
Tl;dr: This month’s key benefit is free 2025 elite status with worldwide hotel chain Accor.
It’s almost the first of the month (and year! 🥳🎆🥂), so it’s time for your regular reminder to take advantage of Rent Day if you have a Bilt Card. As usual, on the first you can earn 6x on dining, 4x on travel, and 2x on all other non-rent spending, up to 1,000 bonus points. You can also play Bilt’s “Rent Free” game for a (remote) chance of winning free rent or points. Bilt also offers free Soul Cycle and Rumble Boxing fitness classes (spaces limited, sign up ASAP through the app). This month’s “neighborhood dining” experiences include New Year’s Eve specials; this month they cost $75 or 5,000 Bilt points.
This month’s big benefit, though, is Accor Live Limited (ALL) status for all of 2025. Every Bilt member can receive complimentary Silver status, which includes late checkout, a free welcome drink, and free internet access at Accor hotels. Bilt elite members can obtain higher statuses. Bilt Silver members can obtain ALL Gold status by transferring 5,000 Bilt points to ALL, while Bilt Gold and Platinum members can get ALL Gold by transferring 2,000 Bilt points.
You get to keep those points as ALL points, although they expire after a year if you don’t stay at an ALL property. ALL points have a cash value, with each 2,000 points being worth 40€ off a stay (about 2¢ each). ALL Gold status includes opportunities for upgrades, early check-in, and late check-out.
I’ve never stayed in an Accor property, but they have a pretty big footprint, so I’ll definitely activate the Silver status, and might even spring for Gold status just in case.
